Ali Bin Ali Technology Solutions and Balador sign strategic partnership

Ali Bin Ali Technology Solutions (ABATS) and Balador have signed a strategic partnership aimed at activating the Balador electronic platform for all public and private sector organizations in Qatar.

Balador’s agreement with ABATS will elevate the customer flow experience to new heights, making the customer journey completely digital through this exclusive representation in Qatar by Ali Bin Ali Technology Solutions.

Balador is an intelligent cloud-based customer flow management tool that takes queuing from physical to virtual. It simply revolutionizes the way businesses provide their services and how they manage their customers’ journey by making queues a thing of the past.

This multi-tenant platform lists service providers, from both the public and private sectors, along with the branch names, services provided, locations, working hours and estimated waiting times based on proximity and availability. This allows the end user to book a ticket for the needed service or appointment without having to call, wait or queue for it; as well as rate their experience through star ratings and or text/voice messages.

All this translates into better time management for the public, avoiding crowding at business locations, and reducing pressure on customer-facing employees, thus increasing efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction.

The signing of the agreement marked a commitment, from both parties, to cooperate in the field of information technology and digital transformation through the introduction of the Balador platform in Qatar.

The memorandum of understanding was signed on the sidelines of Smart City Expo Doha 2022, which was held on March 29 and 30, by the General Manager of ABATS, Mr. Rami Ammari, and the CEO of Balador, Mr. Mohamed Atout, in the presence of Mr. Mohamed Al Ebrik, the COO of Ali Bin Ali Holding’s ICT Division.

This agreement came in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 for economic transformation and the creation of a sustainable knowledge-based economy. It is also supporting the strategic national objectives of delivering integrated IT services and solutions for smart cities consistent with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar.

Balador is a leader in digital technology solutions, applications and customer services, with extensive experience in the Middle East gained over more than 15 years in the field of digital transformation. This unique experience helped it conceive the idea of the electronic platform, Balador, to change the way the service is organized and delivered while managing the customer experience through abolishing the queue completely and making it a thing of the past.

Dohatna Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Anker Innovations

Ali Bin Ali Holding’s Dohatna Innovative Distribution, one of the region’s largest distributors, On March 16, 2022 announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Anker Innovations, a global leader in charging technology and consumer technology products. This Partnership expands Ali Bin Ali’s existing extensive portfolio and increases Anker’s existing footprint in the Region.

This collaboration was announced during a two-day-long event that took place in Doha on March 15 and 16, March 2022. The event was attended by 300 delegates from the organized and independent retailers, as well as the local and regional media outlets representatives in Qatar.

Additionally, a delegation from Ali Bin Ali’s Dohatna and Anker Innovations were present at the event including Mohammad Imran, General Manager of Dohatna, Deepak Jayaram, Sales Manager of Dohatna and Faraz Mehdi, General Manager – Sales at Anker Innovations MEA. Guests attending both events received an introduction about the brand, the new products and got a chance to experience the Anker Exhibit Corner, where selected Anker Innovations products from the brands Anker Charging, eufy Appliances & Security, Soundcore and Nebula were on display, allowing attendees to get first-hand experience of the products.

Dohatna Innovative Distribution inaugurates Qatar’s 5th Samsung outlet at Landmark Mall

 

Expanding the presence of Samsung Electronics outlets in Qatar, Ali Bin Ali Holding’s Dohatna Innovative Distribution has launched the fifth Samsung outlet in Doha. Inaugurated on January 21, 2021, the kiosk is located near gate 6 of the popular Landmark Mall and is strategically placed near Carrefour hypermarket.

The new outlet has the full brand line-up of Samsung mobile phones, tablets and accessories and is sure to become a favorite among Samsung loyalists. On the occasion of the launch, the new Samsung Electronics outlet will be offering some exclusive promotions on Samsung mobile, tablets and accessories from January 21 to 31, 2021.

Dohatna Innovative Distribution organizes annual meet

Ali Bin Ali Holding’s Dohatna Innovative Distribution organized an annual meet event at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel on January 29, 2020.

The first edition of the meet was meant to recognize and appreciate the best- performing partners in different categories for Dohatna’s Samsung business division.

The evening was also used as a platform to launch some new innovative Samsung devices – the Galaxy Note10 Lite, S10 Lite and A71.

Apart from the General Manager of Dohatna Innovative Distribution, Mr. Mohammad Imran, and his staff, also present at the event were representatives from LuLu Hypermarket, Carrefour Qatar, Qatar Duty Free and other major electronics retailers in the country.

Opening the event, Mr. Imran said: “It is a pleasure to welcome all our partners here today and I take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support. OPPO, in association with PDTC, launches its first retail store in Qatar

 

On October 31, the leading global smartphone brand, OPPO – in association with its exclusive distributor in Qatar, Prime Distribution and Trading Company (PDTC) – ceremoniously launched the first OPPO Retail Store in Qatar. It is also the first OPPO Brand Store in the Middle East.

Present at the inauguration ceremony was the General Manager of PDTC, Mr. Mohammad Imran, Sales Director of OPPO Middle East Mr.Vikas Pachnanda and OPPO Qatar Country Manager Ms.Yuan Meng.

ABA Group’s Prime Distribution Trading Company unleashes OPPO F7 in Qatar

Introducing yet another trendy mobile phone in Qatar, Ali Bin Ali (ABA) Group’s Prime Distribution Trading Company launched the new OPPO F7 on May 13, 2018. Powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), the F7 takes smartphone technology to new heights.

The new phone was ceremoniously launched at a special event at Holiday Inn Doha – The Business Park in the presence of media and selected guests. Ali Bin Ali Group FMCG COO Mr. Nabil Mourad, General Manager of Prime Distribution Trading Company Mr. Mohammad Imran, OPPO Qatar General Manager Mr. Moffat Zhou and OPPO GCC Sales Director Mr. Vikas Penchanda were present to unveil the new phone.

The event was opened by Mr. Penchandafollowing which a product expert explained the unmatchable features of the smartphone. The product was physically revealed to guests when helium balloons lifted the cover off the product experience table. 

The house was then opened for questions from the media.
