Ali Bin Ali Holidays Unveils Colombia at Katara

Ali Bin Ali Holidays brought the spirit of Colombia to life with a vibrant destination activation at the ABA Holidays Kiosk in 21 High st. Katara, offering guests an immersive introduction to one of South America’s most dynamic travel destinations. Designed to inspire exploration and cultural connection, the activation marked a significant milestone for ABA Holidays and its parent company, Ali Bin Ali International Travel & Tourism, as it hosted its first-ever joint collaboration with three distinguished partners: the Embassy of Colombia, iconic Colombian coffee brand Juan Valdez, and Galeries Lafayette Doha.

The event welcomed invited guests from the travel, lifestyle, and media sectors, setting a warm and celebratory tone from the moment of arrival. Proceedings officially commenced with the ceremonial unwrapping of the Colombian flag at the ABA Holidays Kiosk, led by the Colombian Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Odette Yidi David, alongside the General Manager of Ali Bin Ali International Travel & Tourism, Mr. Nadeem Ulde. The symbolic moment reflected the strengthening of cultural and tourism ties, while positioning Colombia as an inspiring and accessible destination for regional travelers.

Following the ceremony, ABA Holidays unveiled a series of exclusive Colombian holiday packages, launched to the public for the first time. Curated to showcase Colombia’s diversity, the packages highlight ABA Holidays’ commitment to meaningful, experience-led travel. “This is a unique activation that has been brought to life together with our partners Galeries Lafayette and Juan Valdez. Through this initiative, we are able to present Colombia not just as a destination, but as a story, a culture, and an unforgettable journey,” said Mr. Ulde.

Adding a sensory dimension to the experience, guests were invited to enjoy authentic Colombian coffee served by Juan Valdez, with a dedicated coffee cart positioned beside the kiosk. The aroma and ritual of Colombian coffee created a welcoming atmosphere, encouraging conversation and cultural discovery.

The activation concluded with an exclusive walkthrough of the Colombian brand pop-up at Galeries Lafayette Doha, led by H.E. David. Reflecting on the collaboration, the ambassador remarked, “This initiative beautifully captures the essence of Colombia and strengthens our tourism presence in Qatar. Partnerships like these open doors for deeper cultural exchange and travel.”

Through this landmark activation, ABA Holidays reaffirmed its role as a bridge between destinations and travelers, bringing the world closer through curated experiences, strategic partnerships, and a shared passion for discovery.
