Monoprix Qatar Launches “I Love My Monoprix” Campaign

2Monoprix Qatar launched a captivating communications initiative that was set to engage the interest of its growing customer base on 14 February 2016. The major French retail chain, which has marked its presence at Palm Towers in West Bay Qatar since opening its doors in 2013, drew inspiration from its devoted fans to create the “I Love My Monoprix” campaign.

The campaign was built around an integral commitment of Monoprix Qatar to caring for the health and well-being of its customers. Utilizing the full power of a mix of media channels and customer engagement activities, the “I Love My Monoprix” Campaign displayed numerous reasons why customers love the brand.

The “I Love My Monoprix” Campaign was launched by creating a fully engaged in-store experience. Taking the campaign beyond Monoprix’s doors a wide range of touch points located from parking spaces, to walls, doorways all carried branded communication material, thereby spreading the “I love My Monoprix” message far and wide. A special breakfast event was held to strengthen with the media community and local bloggers. The highlight of the event was the in-store display of a shopping cart laden with locks of red hearts. Another noteworthy element was the introduction of a friendly, red heart-shaped “I Love My Monoprix” mascot, that added amusement to the event.

Commenting on the campaign launch, Regional General Manager of Monoprix, Sebastien Farhat said, “Monoprix Qatar has steadily built a reputation by focusing on what our customers want and need, based on their specific preferences with high quality products.”

With 377 stores in France and 75 stores worldwide, Monoprix S.A operates on a highly successful business model across the globe. This major French retail chain is represented in Qatar by the Ali Bin Ali Group.

The “I Love My Monoprix” campaign has also been launched on social media to increase not only its impact but also the possibility of customer interaction.

The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) held its annual Congress at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, Qatar between February 7 and 11, 2016. Ali Bin Ali Group was one of the main sponsors of the AIPS Congress and proud to have supported Qatar’s ongoing development in the sports sector.

The Congress aptly coincided with Qatar’s National Sports Day, enabling the international delegates to participate in the sports day activities. After successfully hosting the AIPS Congress back in 2006, Qatar, the fast-rising sports capital, was once again chosen to host this internationally-acclaimed Sports Congress. The Congress was the perfect platform for Qatar to showcase its upcoming infrastructure projects and highlight the progress of the National Vision 2030.

Ali Bin Ali sponsors Qatar’s first concept-car

The concept car was fully designed and developed by a team of students from the Texas A & M University at Qatar’s Undergraduate Research Experience Program. The car was featured at the Qatar Motor show on the 28th January till 1st February, 2016.

Ali Bin Ali Group does not only believe in remaining the partner of choice, but also standing as a responsible corporate citizen in the Qatari society. The Chairman and President of Ali Bin Ali Group, Mr. Adel Ali Bin Ali stated,  “We believe in keeping our doors open to mentor young people and expose them to the realities of the competitive and professional world. The Ali Bin Ali Foundation supports academic endeavors, innovation and encourages local talent that focus on Qatar’s future goals.” Mr. Adel acknowledged the Texas A & M University at Qatar’s support and appreciated the participating students’ efforts. The Qatar Motor show provided the perfect platform at which the car was displayed to the public. Mr. Adel added by stated, “For a student project to end up, as a remarkable prototype is something special and the Ali Bin Ali Group is proud to have facilitated its emergence, through our Foundation.”

The concept car was proudly displayed at the Qatar Motor show from 28th January to the 1st February 2016 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.

The new outlet at the high-end Lagoona Mall has given the loyal FAUCHON customers yet another location where they can indulge themselves with famous French classics such as chocolates, macaroons, pastries and a selection of the finest tea blends. Keeping its reputation of being a gourmet boutique that celebrates French cuisine, FAUCHON has themed its latest outlet to resemble the ambience of a chic Parisian style restaurant in its iconic pink and black decor.

The grand opening of FAUCHON at the Lagoona Mall was attended by His Excellency Eric Chevallier, French Ambassador to Qatar, Adel Ali Bin Ali, Chairman & President of Ali Bin Ali Group, Michel Ducros FAUCHON Main Shareholder, other delegates from FAUCHON Paris, VIP guests and other visitors.
